Wow, I'd bet some of you wished you were there at Puerto Rico, it was such a Beautiful, Green, Humid Island.
There were also these neat little "Coqui" frogs that only come out at night, but they make a Neat little "Cokee!" Noise that we first thought were Birds. They are Very small though, and you can't really see any, but the are all over the Island like the other Animal Resident of San Juan, Pigeons.
Yes, those "Flying Rats" were actually not bad. They were fun to Chase around, and were used to Everybody. They would eat nibbles of food you threw, (I tossed a Cherry in front of my Chair, and about 6 Pigeons fought each other for it, but it was funny to watch. ) and would walk right under the Chairs people were laying on around the Pool...

Anyway, I know you all have gotten my Photos of Puerto Rico's Spanish 1500s era Forts, but the Final one, "So long Puerto Rico" is the last Photo I took of the Amazing Architecture in Old San Juan. I loved walking around and Gaping at the Stonework, and all of the Dioramas and Restored Rooms, but Really the Best Part was the Beach, and the Excellent Marriot Hotel and Pool...

I would suggest Marriot if you ever got to Puerto Rico; Our Room overlooked part of the Beach, and the Entire Pool, and the Service was Excellent, not to mention the fact that Small Eateries with Great Food were crammed nearby the Hotel amongst the Towering Buildings of "Modern" San Juan...

The Beach was something else; It had Clean Sand, and the Water was amazing and Blue. I built a neat Sand Fort Reminiscant of the Real Forts not to far away that was taken away by the Ocean the Next Morning, even thought I saw it the Night before when I sat on a Chair at the Empty pool writing my Code Lyoko story like I did most nights...

If you want a Not-too-expensive Getaway to a Tropical Place in the Carribean, I would Suggest Puerto Rico; Crime is almost Non-existant, The Country is VERY Eco-friendly, and once you tolerate the Weather and Humid Temparture, (It was a Hell of a change from Colorado!) It is such a Fun place to be...
