Gone

There are times in your life where the drive to continue something fades and dies.

This is one of them.

Seen as nothing but a project never to be completed, with a severe loss of outside interest, and doomed by lack of attention looming in the future anyway, the RM&N garden railroad has been abandoned, and pulled up. The track will be repurposed for indoor use, and the trains will still see regular attention and use indoors, but their time outside is done.


The abutments of the tiny bridge over the dry river, supporting rockwork, and ballast, now lie exposed to the world, stripped of rail and ties, and waiting for nature to reclaim her land.

Whispers of wind, are now the only sounds to grace the empty trail, where beasts of iron and fire roamed...
